Chancel Choir Seats Available

Now is the time to join the Chancel Choir to participate in glorious music!
Limited spots are available for dedicated, enthusiastic singers (ages 14+).
Our first rehearsal is Thursday, September 2 and worship Sunday, September 5.
From September through mid-June, the choir rehearses weekly Thursdays, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 9:00 for 10:30 worship. Childcare provided.
The Chancel Choir’s primary roles are to sing anthems of praise and prayer God and to inspire and lead congregational singing. Our repertoire covers many styles and centuries of music--the Baroque of Bach to the mystery of Poulenc, chants from medieval times to Taizé, gospel arrangements and contemporary anthem composers such as John Ness Beck and Craig Courtney.
Special worship services include Christmas Eve Lessons, Carols and Candles
Holy Week and Easter
Pentecost Festival in Many Languages
The Chancel Choir also performs secular music at special events such as the Pipe Screams Halloween Spooktakular, the Christmas Sing-along, and First Pres Follies.
